CM YS Jagan to visit Delhi tomorrow, likely to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is scheduled to visit Delhi on Tuesday to meet the BJP top brass over various issues. The chief minister will leave for Delhi tomorrow at 10 am in a special flight. The visit has come after about four months. Jagan's tour has gained prominence as he is meeting the central leaders in these unprecedented times. The AP chief minister is expected to meet with Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Earlier, Jagan met Delhi leaders and discussed over decentralization of development, three capital and the dissolution of the council bills that were passed in the last January. Besides CM, MPs Mithun Reddy and Vijayasai Reddy are also heading to Delhi. It is reported that Jagan will discuss many issues related to the state.

It is rumoured that the chief minister would discuss the SEC matter and the dissolution of Legislative council issues with the centre. However, there could also be a political agenda behind his visit. It remains to be what the output of his visit would be.

On the other hand, there are reports that Andhra Pradesh state cabinet is scheduled to meet on June 5 chaired by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to discuss on the increasing Coronavirus cases. The cabinet aims to take decisions in taking precautions to contain Coronavirus in the coming days.
