CM YS Jagan working hard for women empowerment : Says VasiReddy Padma

Tirupati: AP Women Commission Chairperson VasiReddy Padma said that, On Friday AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is working hard for women empowerment, as part of that YSRCP Government has been implementing various schemes in the state for women economic and social development.

Women Commission Chairperson participated as chief guest in various developmental activities related to women Anna Prasana, Garbini Seemantham, Check Distribution which was arranged by the ICDS officials in Ramachandrapuram Mandal in Chittoor District.

In this connection addressing the women, Chairperson VasiReddy Padma mentioned that when the women will have sufficient money and power then only they can manage the things independently. In view of that CM YS Jagan is implementing many schemes like Jagannana thou, Ammavadi, Vidya Deevena and Arogyasri for the care of women.

Later, She visited the ICDS stalls which were arranged by its officials and participated in AnnaPrasana, Garbini Sreemantham programmes. And face to face interacted with women beneficiaries to know their opinions over Government schemes implementation. She said women have hardworking nature and they have been working always for society betterment. She called upon the women to quit the child marriages practice in rural areas.

Later, Chittoor RDO Renuka and YSRCP Chandragiri youth leader CheviReddy Mohith Reddy also spoke in the programme.

As expressing their feelings, women beneficiaries said that CM Jagan and Chandragiri MLA CheviReddy Bhaskar Reddy had saved them during Corona Pandemic time and distributed free groceries, vegetables, sanitisers and eggs.

After concluding the programme women conducted a human chain activity and raised slogans related to women empowerment.

In the programme RC Puram MPDO RajaShekar Reddy, Thasildar Madhusudhan Rao, PD UmaMaheswari, CDPO Padmaja and local leaders were present.
