CME on skeletal sports injuries held at SVIMS in Tirupati

Tirupati: The Nuclear medicine and Radiology departments of SVIMS jointly organised continuing medical education (CME) programme on "Imaging in Musculo – Skeletal Sports Injuries) on Saturday.

The Director-cum-Vice-Chancellor Dr B Vengamma has inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp and said that it will help the medical students to upgrade their knowledge and provide better medical care to patients.

SVIMS faculty Dr Ramya has delivered a lecture on 'Bone Scan in Sports Injuries', while Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Chennai faculty Dr Venkata Sai enlightened the participants on 'Musculo – Skeletal Ultrasound in clinical practice.

The Director has felicitated them with mementoes. Dean Dr M Hanumantha Rao, Radiology Head Dr AY Lakshmi, Registrar Dr Sreedhar Babu, Dr B Vijayalakshmi, Nuclear Medicine department Head Dr TC Kalawat, General Surgery Professor Dr Ramasubba Reddy, Sri Padmavati Medical College for Women Principal Dr Saran B Singh, Pharmacology Head Dr Umamaheswar Rao and others participated.
