Collector pays rich tributes to Ambedkar

Srikakulam: District Collector J Nivas on Sunday lauded the services of constitutional architect Dr B R Ambedkar, who provided right to life in healthy condition to all through his constitution. Garlanding Ambedkar statue in Srikakulam on Sunday on the occasion of his 128th birth anniversary, organised under the aegis of district social welfare department, the collector said that Ambedkar was a great visionary leader and intellectual and he drafted constitution for improvement of poor and weaker sections.

He provided us rights and responsibilities for the development of our nation and introduced matured constitutional systems which are relevant for more than hundred years. He wants to establish casteless society and to provide equal share to all the people in development of our nation.

District revenue officer K Narendra Prasad, Social Welfare Department Deputy Director K V Aditya Laxmi, SC Corporation Exeutive Director Ch Maha Laxmi, various Dalit and BC union leaders also spoke on the occasion and remembered services of Ambedkar to our nation.
