Competitions held for students on AP Formation Day

Vijayawada: Archeology department commissioner Dr G Vanimohan said that with the sacrifices of great leader Potti Sriramulu, the combined state of Andhra Pradesh was formed for Telugu speaking people.

To create awareness among the present generation about AP formation, the archeology department organized various programmes to the students on the premises of Bapu Museum here on Friday.

They conducted essay-writing and painting competition and the winners of the competition were given prizes. Agriculture Minister Kanna Babu said that students should take Potti Sriramulu as an inspiration in their life to achieve their goals.

MLA Malladi Vishnu, Archaeology Department Assistant Director P Suresh, Technical Assistant N Satyavathi, B Deepak and others were present. Students of St John's School, Montessori School, CVR School, Viva School, Vignan Foundation School were present.
