Conference on 'Literature and Culture' concludes in Vizag

Visakhapatnam: The three-day international conference on 'Inter-disciplinary Studies of Literature and Culture' was concluded here on Saturday at Dr B R Ambedkar Assembly Hall in Andhra University.

The chief guest of the valedictory, Professor from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, Sheetal Sharma said that the advent of scientific knowledge and the present education system emphasise on empirical observations.

The Professor opined that 'value neutrality' has given scope for multiple perspectives.

Registrar of Andhra University K Niranjan, Sri Lanka-based trainee Mahim Mendis, Principal of Arts College of Andhra University K Rama Mohan Rao, HoD of English Department D Peda Raju, conference director P Rajendra Karmakar and others were present in the session.
