Congress alleges voter list not available for filing nominations in Ongole

Ongole: The AICC secretary Dr Sirivella Prasad, APCC vice president J Prabhakar, Prakasam DCC president Eda Sudhakar Reddy and other Congress party leaders conducted a press meet in the DCC office on Tuesday.

Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, the leaders said that chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy was confusing people and forcing them into insecurity with his flawed decisions. They opined that the state government has wasted all time and neglected to conduct the local body elections, but is in haste to do them in very less time and disturbing the students in the exams season.

They alleged that some of their candidates are not able to get the revised voters lists to mention their voter number for the nomination process and blamed it on the failure of the government.

They said that most of the Veligonda, Gundlakamma, Mallavaram projects are constructed in the Congress government rule, but the TDP and YSRCP governments failed to provide water through them even now. They requested the public to observe the difference in the rule of Congress and others and asked to support them in the local bodies.
