Conspiracy to shift Amaravati capital : Chandrababu reacts on Botcha comments
Vijayawada: Former Chief Minister and TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu reacted on the statement of Minister for Municipal Administration Botcha Satyanarayana on Amaravati capital.
During his visit on flood affected areas in Avanigadda in Krishna district on Tuesday night, Chandrababu said that the State government was making plans to shift Amaravati capital for some other location in the name of flood threat and expenditure.
He said that there was a conspiracy behind the government plans. He wondered as to how the State government would give statement on capital construction needs more expenditure.
He said that the farmers gave 33,000 acres land for capital construction. Nearly 9000 acres land is available in the capital location after allotting land for all construction purposes.
The capital could be constructed by using this land as a source of income without spending a single rupee burden.
He asked as to how the minister says the capital construction is expensive. All the developments are gone in the state, he lamented.
