Convene a meet to address traffic woes in Vijayawada:Chief Minister to officials
Amaravati: Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday asked the officials to conduct a meeting in Vijayawada to discuss and address the traffic problem being faced by the denizens. As part of the two-day collectors' conference, Jagan addressed the Collectors and Superintendents of Police and the senior police officers at the Praja Vedika in Undavalli.
He directed the officials to convene a meeting to discuss the traffic problem in the city. He has taken the decision in view of the increasing traffic problem in Vijayawada after the bifurcation of the State.
He also asked the officials to take measures to provide assistance to AgriGold victims. The state government has announced Rs.1,150 crore for the payment to the AgriGold victims. It was one of the pre poll promises of the YSRCP.
The Chief Minister instructed the officials to take measures to auction the properties of the AgriGold company and resolve the legal problems for the payment to the small depositors. Lakhs of AgriGold victims will be benefitted with the decision taken by the Chief Minister.
