Coronavirus has no effect on Andhra Pradesh, yet govt is prepared: Minister Alla Nani
Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Alla Nani has made it clear that there are no coronavirus cases reported in the state. "The impact of coronavirus on the state is very less and there is no need to panic," he said. Speaking to the media on Tuesday, he said all measures are being taken to prevent Coronavirus in the state. As per the minister, there are as many as 200 passengers who undergone tests and 11 members samples were sent to the Pune lab.
Minister Nani has asserted that they are setting up isolation wards and the masks are being distributed to the public and the medical staff to prevent the deadly virus from spreading.
"We are also planning to distribute palm plates about the disease to the public to make them aware of the virus; the responsibility is handed over to the village volunteers," Nani opined.
