Coronavirus in Prakasam: 94 new cases reported in the district
Coronavirus in Prakasam district: With the massive outbreak of Coronavirus outbreak in Andhra Pradesh, the government and health department officials are concerned. In the meanwhile, a record number of cases were reported in Prakasam district on Wednesday with a maximum of 94 positive cases, which led the bureaucracy and the public to be concerned. With the latest cases, the number of cases registered in the district so far has reached 820. Doctors have confirmed that 27 people were discharged from hospital after recovering and two people were reported dead on Wednesday.
It is learnt that the Coronavirus cases have been increasing due to contact from one to another. On Wednesday, 26 cases were reported in Ongole City with 14 in Cheerala, 11 in Markapuram, 11 in Kandukuru and 8 in Pamur. Similarly, Mundlamooru 4, Chinapavani 2, Kothapalli, one each from Machavaram, Maripudi, Singarayakonda, Ballikurava, Podili, Parchur, Vettapalem, Kondapalli, Kothapatnam, Chavatapalem, Mogilicharla, Kanakkanamittala, Karumanippalli, Garladinne and Kondapalli.
Office these, 25 were diagnosed with the VRDL tests and the rest were with Trunat tests. Officials are making arrangements to evacuate all those who have come to the GGH for treatment. Two people died of covid in the district on Wednesday with 54-year-old man from Gandolinagar, Ongole and a 50-year-old woman from Markapuram.
