Coronavirus: Kodali Nani warns vendors of jail term for increasing prices

Amid coronavirus outbreak across the globe, the two Telugu states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have announced the lockdown of the state till March 31. shutting down all shops, groceries. The interstate borders were also closed. Meanwhile, the coronavirus lockdown has become the boon for the vegetable vendors and grocery shop holders as they have hiked the price to a high level.

Despite, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has already warned of increasing prices of vegetables, the traders on Monday raised the rates. The Minister of Civil Affairs Kodali Nani also responded in the increasing prices, which is leaving the customers pockets empty. He warned the businessmen of legal action if they sell essential commodities at high prices.

Kodali Nani urged the people to support the call given by central and state governments to protect the epidemic coronavirus. He said that the chief minister would provide basic amenities to the people on March 29. He also assured of financial assistance of Rs.1000 would be provided to the people at their doorsteps.
