Coronavirus: SSC exams as per schedule, Minister Adimulapu Suresh asserts

The state government of Andhra Pradesh lead by chief minister YS Jagan has announced holidays for all the educational institutions in the state till 31st of this month in the wake of fast-spreading coronavirus in India. However, the Education minister Adimulapu Suresh on Thursday said that the SSC exams will be held as per the schedule from March 31.

"All the facilities are provided to the students who are writing the exams and assured of protection in the wake of coronavirus," Adimulapu Suresh said. He said the CM YS Jagan government is conducting medical tests for all ill students. The minister said that they are taking steps to shift the students to travel to their hometowns for the holidays.

Minister Suresh said that government would review the situation after 31 months and will take further decisions. On the other hand, the second confirmed case of coronavirus is reported in Andhra Pradesh at Prakasam and a suspected case with coronavirus symptoms has come to live in Mangalagiri.
