Coronavirus update: 25 new cases reported in Andhra Pradesh taking the tally to 2230
Andhra Pradesh: Coronavirus pandemic is said to be slowing down in Andhra Pradesh with the decrease of a number of new cases from the last couple of days. The state has reported as many as 25 new cases excluding the migrant cases taking the total tally to 2230 in the last twenty-four hours after conducting 9,880 tests. On the other hand, 103 persons have been discharged after getting cured in the previous 24 hours, and one death reported. The death toll reaches 50 till date and the number of active cases stands 747, while the total discharged cases stand at 1433.
Of the new cases in the last 24 hours, Srikakulam registered seven cases, Chittoor and East Godavari reported four each. Visakhapatnam, Kurnool and Prakasam have reported three each and one in Nellore respectively. Apart from state's cases, there are also positive cases from other states as well with 150 cases which have come from the other states to Andhra Pradesh.
Meanwhile, The chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who has held a review meeting on Saturday has reportedly decided to provide travel facility to evacuate the migrants to their neighbouring states for free of cost.
