Coronavirus update: 319 new cases reported in Andhra Pradesh, takes tally to 8,84,490

Coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh have once again increased. In a bulletin released by the state medical and health department on Friday, 59,671 people were tested for coronavirus and 319 tested positive in the past 24 hours. This brings the number of coronavirus cases in the state to 8,84,490.

Meanwhile, one died on Friday in Krishna district taking the death toll from the corona epidemic has risen to 7,127 across the State. On the other hand, the number of discharges in the state has also increased with a total of 308 people fully recovered and discharged from the coronavirus epidemic on Friday with which 8,74,531 people in the state have now fully recovered from the coronavirus, while the number of active cases has dropped to 2,832.

The government has tested 1,22,24,202 samples so far across the state, the bulletin said. The highest number of coronavirus cases was reported in Krishna district on Friday, while the lowest number was reported in Vizianagaram district with 46 and 5 respectively.
