Coronavirus update: Andhra Pradesh reports 141 new cases, tally mounts to 4402

Andhra Pradesh: In the latest media health bulletin released by the state nodal officer, as many as 141 new COVID-19 cases during the past 24 hours on Friday till 10 am out of 11,775 tests conducted. With this, the total number of cases mounts to 4402. As per the bulletin issued by the Health Department, Currently, there are 1723 active cases and 2599 recovered and discharged on Thursday.

On the other hand, 59 persons have been cured during the last 24 hours and zero deaths reported with total tally remaining at 80. Apart from state cases there 66 more cases related to foreign returnees and migrants.

The foreign returnees cases increased to 199 with two new cases and zero discharges. The active cases stands at 178. On the other hand, migrant returnees cases' increased to 1035 leaving 564 active cases and 64 discharges today.

The Andhra Pradesh government has set another record in the conduction of coronavirus tests. It ranks first in the country with over 5,16,457 tests.
