Coronavirus update: Andhra Pradesh reports 685 new positive cases taking tally to 8,68,749

The coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh has seen a hike on Tuesday compared to Moday. According to health bulletin released a short while ago, about 51,574 samples were tested in the last 24 hours where 685 new positive cases were reported taking the total number of cases across the state to 8,68,749 and four people have died in the past 24 hours, which brings the total death toll to 6996.

The health bulletin reported that the recovery rate also been increased with as many as 1094 people had recovered in the past 24 hours, which brings the total number of recovered cases to 8,54,326 while 7,827 are being treated at the various coronavirus hospitals. Meanwhile, East Godavari district has the highest number of 1,22,361 positive cases in the state, followed by West Godavari district with 92,519 cases while Chittoor district has 83,769 cases and stood at top three positions.

The state has conducted 1,01,01,708 tests overall, which is a massive number. As far as deaths, one died in the Krishna, West Godavari, Chittoor and Anantapur. The district wise date can be accessed in the below mentioned tweet.
