Coronavirus update: AP govt warns of cases if not taken self-care
The Andhra Pradesh health secretary Dr Jawahar Reddy said everyone should be vigilant to fight the deadly coronavirus. He advised the travellers arrived from abroad to stay home for 14 days and directed the Collectors of all districts to ensure that they are self-isolated.
He expressed his outraged over some of the COVID-19 suspects who are moving outside without following the government's instructions. The officials were ordered to file cases against such persons. All precautions must be taken to prevent the virus from spreading.
Jawahar Reddy asserted that the people reached from overseas were kept under the supervision of doctors and had held a review with Chemist and Druggist Association and warned of severe actions if the masks and sanitizers were sold at high prices. He ordered the shopkeepers to display the prices at their shops and be sold at MRP.
"We have set up Coronavirus labs in Tirupati and Vijayawada and will set up one more in Kakinada on Tuesday.
