Coronavirus update: AP registers 349 new cases, tally moves to 8,81,061

Coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh have been on decrease. In the last 24 hours, 46,386 coronavirus tests were conducted in Andhra Pradesh, while 349 new cases were registered and two victims lost their lives, which brings the total number of coronavirus cases registered in the state so far to 8,81,061. The state health department has released a bulletin to this effect. Including the latest deaths, 7,094 people have died of covid in the state so far.

In the last 24 hours, 422 victims have fully recovered. The number of recovered people in the state has reached 8,70,342 while there are 3,625 active cases in the state currently. So far, 1,16,20,503 coronavirus samples have been tested in the state, according to the Department of Health bulletin.

As per the bulletin, Chittoor has registered the highest number case in the past twenty four hours with 105 cases followed by Guntur 34, East Godavari 27, Krishna 67, Visakhapatnam 28, Nellore 11, 8 each in Prakasam, Srikakulam, Kurnool, 11 in Nellore, 31 in Anantapur, 17 in Kadapa, 3 in West Godavari respectively.
