Coronavirus update: AP reports 338 new cases, takes tally to 8,82,286

Coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh after witnessing a drastic fall has been hiked on Thursday. According to the latest health bulletin released by the state health department, in the last 24 hours, 61,148 coronavirus tests were conducted in Andhra Pradesh, where as many as 338 new positive cases were registered taking the total number of coronavirus cases in the state so far to 8,82,286

Meanwhile, four deaths have been reported in the last twenty-four hours with one each in Guntur, Kadapa, Visakhapatnam and West Godavari which takes the totals deaths to 7,108. On the other hand, 328 victims have fully recovered from dreadful virus with which the total recoveries in the state has reached 8,71,916 while there are 3,262 active cases in the state currently.

The health department has conducted tests for a maximum of, 1,18,25,566 samples. According to the Department of Health bulletin, Chittoor district registers highest cases with 65 followed by Krishna 44, East Godavari 38, Visakhapatnam 34, Kadapa 20, West Godavari 19, Nellore 18, Anantapur 16, Prakasam 15, Srikakulam 13, Vizianagaram 8, Kurnool 6 cases respectively.
