Counselling for agriculture polytechnic courses begins in ANGRAU
Guntur: Acharya N G Ranga Agriculture University officials on Sunday conducted counselling for admission into two-year polytechnic courses in seed technology, organic farming and three-year agriculture engineering diploma courses for the academic year 2019-20 on the varsity premises in Guntur.
Under the aegis of the University Controller of Examinations, Dr A Siva Shankar conducted the counselling at university auditorium. Speaking on the occasion, varsity registrar D Bhaskara Rao made it clear that facilities were not similar in the affiliated colleges in the university. Stating that they have announced ranks to affiliated colleges this year, he said that it is not possible to change the college after joining in one college.
University Controller of Examinations Dr A. Siva Shankar said that there were 100 affiliated polytechnic colleges in the university of which 19 polytechnic colleges were government colleges. So far, 187 seats in agriculture polytechnic colleges were filled.
