Covid-19 protection kits distributed at Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam: As a part of safety measures, Road Transport Authority (RTA) officials distributed Covid-19 protection kits to lorry and truck drivers along with cleaners here on Wednesday.

Earlier, similar kits were distributed to RTC drivers who operated ambulances stationed at the Collectorate. "As part of the awareness programme, we supplied the kits to the drivers," said G C Rajaratnam, Deputy Transport Commissioner.

Each kit contains two sanitisers, three masks and a pair of hand gloves said R C H Srinivasa Rao, RTO, Visakhapatnam. About 1,000 kits were distributed in Visakhapatnam on the occasion, he added.
