CPI rasta roko against BJP rule on Oct 16

Vijayawada: CPI city secretary Donepudi Shankar has said they will stage a rasta roko at Benz Circle in protest against the BJP led NDA government on October 16.

Addressing the media on Friday, Shankar said that the country is facing recession with the policies implemented by the central government and industries are getting closed leaving lakhs of people jobless.

He said that the present situation was the result of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's private and corporate governance and they would protest against the central government. CPI leader Donepudi Kashinath said that with the policies of Modi, the financial structure of the country has shattered badly leaving the people jobless and neck deep in trouble.

The central government policies are favouring the corporate and private organisations and the unemployed youth are left without jobs in the country, he added.
