Curbs will continue in red zones: Anil Kumar Yadav

Nellore: Minister for Water Resources Dr P Anil Kumar Yadav clarified that they were implementing restrictions with regard to containment zones only after a positive case reported in the area.

He informed on Tuesday that once a case is reported, containment should be followed of next 28 days and hence commercial activities at Stonehouse Pet area in the city have been stopped. He denied rumours on allowing operations shortly ignoring the containment guidelines.

He said the last positive case was reported in SH Pet area was on May 11. Government will initiate action against the persons if they collect money from the traders promising that the ban will be lifted, he said.
