Cut off marks for Grama Sachivalayam is 40 percent
Amaravati: The minimum cut off marks for Grama Sachivalayam exams conducted by the AP government is 40 per cent for general category candidates, 35 per cent for BCs, 30 per cent for SC candidates. The Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has released the results of the exam on Thursday at his residence at Tadepalli in Guntur district.
Verification schedule: The results released on September 19. Certificates need to be uploaded on websites from September 21. Call letters distribution from September 21 to 22. Verification of certificates from September 23 to 25. Appointment orders to be issued on September 27. Awareness programme to be held for the candidates on October 1 and 2. The functioning of the Village and Ward Secretariats to be started from October 2.
Out of the total 19,50,630 appeared candidates, 198164 got qualified for 1,26,728 vacancies. Out of them, 24583 in general category, BC category 100494, SC category 63629 and ST category 9458. Within them, 131327 men and 66835 women.
There will be at least 11 to 12 employees to be employed by the government at each Secretariat in the local government. Out of the total 1,26,728 posts, 95,088 to be placed in Rural areas and 36,410 in urban areas.
The state government will establish this new system of Village and Ward Secretariat from October 2. There will be 11,158 village secretariats and 3,786 Ward secretariats in the state.
Entire recruitment process completed within June 27 to September 19, very short span of time. It is a record in the history of recruitment procedure in the country.
