Dattagiri seer visits Durga temple

Vijayawada: Seer Sri Vairagya Sikhamani Avadhuta Swami of Dattagiri Maharaj Peetham, Sangareddy district of Telangana State visited Goddess Durga Malleswara Swami Varla Devastanam here on Tuesday.

Temple Executive Officer V Koteswaramma along with temple priests welcomed the seer with the temple tradition. After Darshan of the Goddess Kanaka Durga, the seer visited Malleswara Swami Temple atop Indrakeeladri.

Later, the temple authorities explained the Holy Ashadha Saare Programme which is famous Ashadam programme of Andhra Pradesh like Bonalu of Telangana. SPF Commandant Dr K Narasimha Rao and his wife blew the conch at Mahamandapam in the presence of Vairagya Sikhamani Avadhuta Swami on the occasion.
