Dead body found near temple in Kurnool district

Kurnool: A burnt dead body of human being was detected near Bata Maremma temple located on the outskirts of Adoni main town, the road leading towards Aspari on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Mangali Basavaraju (42) a resident of Indira Nagar in Adoni. The travelers taking the way on noticing the dead body brought to the notice of Adoni Taluka police. The police rushed to the spot and began inspecting the scene of offense.

The Adoni Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), G Venkataramudu disclosing facts to The Hans India has said that the deceased a resident of Indira Nagar was known to be doing real estate business. He has good identity in Adoni and was known having no rivalry with anyone. But, what has forced him to take the extreme step is not known, said the SDPO.

The deceased was a sugar patient, at times he was seen extremely upset with his ill health, quoting the version of deceased brother, Mangali Mallikarjuna, said the DSP. We have found a two liters water bottle, might have brought kerosene in it and his slippers besides his dead body. With the kerosene he might have immolated, Venkataramudu said.

However, we too find no evidences of murder but the facts will come to fore after the post mortem is complete. As of now we have filed a case under suspicious death and even the family members were also said that the deceased has no rivalry with anyone. Basing on the complaint lodged by the deceased brother, Mangali Mallikarjuna we have filed case and took up investigation, added the DSP, G Venkatramudu.
