Decade old dream to yield now for YSRCP

Amaravati: The decade long wait for the YSRCP has been yielding results with the party establishing winning leads in 10 out of 13 districts of the State from the beginning of the counting on Thursday.

From the starting of the counting for the State Assembly segments, the party established winning leads in seven assembly segments in Vizianagaram district.

Similarly, the party candidates were ahead of the rival TDP in 13 Assembly segments in West Godavari and 14 Assembly segments in East Godavari districts.

Continuing similar trends the party has shown in its strength in Visakhapatnam leading in 9 and 14 Assembly segments in Visakhapatnam and Guntur districts, respectively.

In Uttarandhra the party candidates are also ahead of the TDP, in Srikakulam district.

Repeating similar show the YSRCP candidates have established leads in 8 Assembly segments in Kadapa, 13 Assembly segments in Kurnool in Rayalaseema. Besides, voters in the Nellore, Chittore and Prakasam districts have also given winning edge to the YSRCP candidates from the initial stages of the counting.

While trends in the Nellore district showed the YSRCP going for a clean sweep the party candidates were leading ahead of the TDP candidates in 9 Assembly segments.
