Destruction is hallmark of YSRCP's one-year rule: Nara Lokesh
Srikakulam: TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh said the one-year rule of the YSRCP government was confined to the only destruction without anything to write about home on the development front. Lokesh toured in the district on Friday and visited the family of party senior leader and Tekkali MLA K Atchannaidu who was arrested by in the alleged ESI scam at Nimmada village under Kotabommali mandal.
Speaking on the occasion, he launched a tirade against Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for misusing power given by the people to unleash terror against opposition TDP leaders.
He suggested that Jagan concentrate on the development of the state and providing good governance, instead of targeting political opponents. "Jagan is playing videogames at night and behaving like a psycho during the day. He wanted to become Chief Minister to destroy all systems, harass political rivals, suppress people who exposed loopholes? This can't be tolerated," he said. Lokesh alleged that lands of Dalits were being grabbed in the name of house sites, Dalit medical officers were being harassed, leaders who raised their voice against the government were being targeted. He said people were watching these misdeeds of the government and were comparing it with the TDP rule.
Lokesh also met former government whip K Ravikumar at Srikakulam who was arrested several times on various cases by the government and expressed his support. TDP state unit state president K Kala Venkata Rao, Srikakulam MP K Rammohan Naidu and party leaders accompanied him.
