Devi Navaratri Utsavams from today

Rajamahendravaram: Shiva Kameshwari Peetham Pontiff Emani Dakshina Murthi has said that 28th Devi Navaratri Utsavams will be held on the premises of the peetham located near the AVA Road from Saturday.

Speaking to the media at the Press Club here on Friday, he said Kalasa Stapana would be held on September 29 at 6.30 AM, followed by Lakshmi Pooja at 8 AM. Meanwhile, from 8 AM to 8 PM, various poojas and religious rituals would be performed during the nine days of the celestial celebrations.

Chandi Homam, Kaumarapriya human, etc, will also be held as part of the festival and appealed to the people to participate in Devi Navaratri festival for the blessings of Goddess Durga Devi. Innisepta Cooperative Urban Bank chairman Kolla Achtyu Rama Rao, YSRCP leader Jakkampudi Vijaya Lakshmi will grace the occasion, he added.
