DGP advises Women caretaker secretaries to take responsibility for women safety
DGP Gautam Sawang suggested the woman caretakers be responsible for the safety of women in the villages. The DGP said on Thursday that it is the responsibility of women caretakers to solve the problems of women and girls in their surroundings.
Women and girls in the state are increasingly concerned about the problems. Women's caretaker's secretaries have to overcome these problems and should bring greater changes in society at large.
There are 14967 secretaries in the state and they will be trained in 10 batches and 11 centres in six months. The training will be attended by police and women and child welfare officials. Practical classes will be started in two weeks. The women secretaries will be conducting classes like self-defence and yoga.
