Digital classes in primary schools begin

Rajamahendravaram: Municipal Corporation of Rajamahendravaram has started digital classes in all its primary schools in the city here on Thursday. The digital classes are aimed to ease teaching at primary level from first to fifth standards, mainly in mathematics, science and social subjects. Municipal Administration department has provided necessary projectors, screens and flash cards relating to various subjects.

Speaking to The Hans India here on Thursday, corporation Commissioner Sumit Kumar said that digital teaching will enhance the learning standards of students along with creativity and the system is a boon to the students in which the students can grasp easily as the respective pictures seen on the screen.

The corporation is implementing 'No bag day' system in all its schools twice in a month and also conducting foundation day courses and common practice tests. Digital classes were started in Jail Wardes Lane School.
