District Collector, civic chief inspect sanitation centre

Kakinada: District Collector D Muralidhar Reddy along with Municipal Commissioner K Ramesh inspected the sanitation centre on the city suburb areas of Kotta Gaigolupadu and surrounding areas here on Tuesday.

The Collector while passing through households observed water stagnation in the lanes and asked the residents to maintain clean surroundings. The Collector on this occasion created awareness to public on sanitation and to keep surroundings clean to avoid mosquito breeding thereby averting seasonal diseases like malaria, dengue and viral fevers.

The District Collector directed Municipal Commissioner Ramesh to initiate additional measures for the improvement of sanitation facilities in the city.
