Divine intervention sought for election victory

Tirupati: Now, it is the time for the supporters of political parties seek divine intervention to bless their party win the crucial election. A group of 12 YSRCP IT wing techies on Saturday climbed the serpentine pedestrian path on knee to reach Tirumala, to propitiate Lord Venkateswara to make YS Jaganmohan Reddy as Chief Minister of the State.

The techies led by YSRCP IT wing head K Dhananjaya Reddy after performing pooja at Alipiri, the starting point of the 10 km long pedestrian path to Tirumala, started trekking the steep hills on knee which is most arduous and painful exercise which they took up to appease the God to shower his blessing on YSRCP to win the election to see Jagan become Chief Minister and Rayachoti YSRCP nominee Srikanth Reddy register a resounding victory in the ensuring election. Dhananjaya Reddy said that in 2014 also, the same batch of techies from Galiveedu in Rayachoti constituency climbed the hills on knee to pray the God for YSRCP win.

Not lagging behind, a ground of local TDP activists also took up climbing the hills on knee. TDP nominee and sitting MLA Suguna and TDP leaders were present to appreciate the party activists, who prepared to climb the hills on knee to seek the God's blessing for TDP win in the election.
