Don’t let criminals come to power, Chandrababu Naidu tells people

Kurnool: Reiterating his assurance of "Your future is my responsibility" to the people of state, TDP national president and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu came down heavily on YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy for "fabricating lies" on the murder of his uncle Y S Vivekananda Reddy.

Addressing party activists at STBC College grounds here on Tuesday, Naidu expressed disgust at Jaganmohan Reddy alleging his and his son Lokesh hand behind the murder committed in their own house. "I have extended my condolences on humanitarian grounds on learning of the death of Vivekananda Reddy. But leaders of that party lied and tried to portray the brutal murder as natural death caused by heart attack," he said.

Dwelling the incident, the Chief Minister said a handwritten letter of Vivekananda Reddy was given to police in the evening when the murder took place in the morning. "YSRCP leaders erased the blood stains in the bedroom and misled the police by saying that blood was due to knocking down head to commode. On Jagan's demand for a CBI probe into Viveka's murder, Naidu wondered how he could seek the CBI probe when he himself berated the Central agency which registered a slew of cases against him for illegal investments and assets and was prosecuting him. Stating that the prime accused in 12 corruption joined hands with 'chowkidar' Narendra Modi to come out of cases. "If a person with such a criminal background comes to power, then the entire state will be destroyed," he cautioned people.

Saying that Modi, KCR, Jagan and Asaduddin Owaisi joined hands to hamper development of AP, he said he as an army of 65 lakh women who would strive for the TDP victory.

Naidu also said that he had taken the responsibility to transform 'Rallaseema' into Rathanalaseema. He said Kurnool district surpassed even Krishna and West Godavari in generating revenue from horticulture crops.

He spoke highly of party Panyam constituency candidate Gowru Charitha Reddy on the occasion. Deputy Chief Minister K E Krishna Murthy, former Union minister Kotla Jaya Surya Prakash Reddy, Rajya Sabha member T G Venkatesh, contesting MLAs BC Janardhan Reddy, Bhuma Bhramananda Reddy, Jaya Nageswar Reddy, Bhuma Akila Priya, TG Bharat and others participated in the meeting.
