DPS holds workshop on Bhagavad Gita Avadhanam in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: The Department of Telugu in Delhi Public School conducted a workshop on Bhagavad Gita for the ninth and tenth class students. As part of the programme 'Bhagavad Gita Avadhanam' was performed by Avadhani Dr Yadlapalli Mohana Rao, who was challenged by a team of ten scholars.

Pruchhakulu Dittakavi Seshacharyulu, Ch Ramesh Babu, P Venkateswara Rao, Naga Rama Devi, Srinivasa Reddy, AVS Ravi Kumar, Rama Krishna, Anupama, Rama Gayatri recognised the Shlokas by the numbers of Adhyayas or letters asked by the scholars and by students eloquently.

The students also asked questions on the Bhagavad Gita which were thoroughly answered by Dr Mohana Rao. Principal G Mala also attended the programme. The Avadhani left everyone in awe by spontaneous and perfect answers.

The Pro-Vice-Chairman, Parimi Narendra Babu thanked the Avadhani for taking out his valuable time.
