Dr. Anita Rani not cooperating to investigation, says CID SP Ratna
Chittoor: Dr. Anita Rani, Medical Officer, PHC, Penumur, the complainant did not cooperate properly for the investigation of declined Smt.Ratna, SP, CID, the supervising officer of Dr.Anita Rani case. Speaking to media here on Thursday at police guest house, she said that serious efforts were made to meet Dr.Anita Rani for recording her statement in person " As per the instructions of DGP, the CID has taken over the case of Dr.Anita Rani on June 9 from Penumur police. We have tried to contact Dr.Anita Rani at PHC. She did not turn up physically. We have tried to meet her at her residence.
She spoke on the phone that said that she doesn't have belief on CID or local police or state Government. She demanded CBI enquiry. Besides, she reiterated to beardruff Dy.CM K.Narayana Swamy and dismiss the working employees in Penumur PHC" she declared. The SP further said that Dr.Anita Rani referred Dr.Sudhakar case also which was entrusted to CBI due to lack of confidence in CID.
She made it clear that it was unfair on the part of Dr.Anita Rani for blaming CID. She remarked that it was quite irrelevant on the part of Dr.Anita Rani for denying to meet us even at her residence.
