Drizzle bring respite to denizens

Visakhapantnam: People of Visakhapatnam who were reeling under heatwave conditions on Friday and Saturday heaved a sigh of relief when drizzle accompanied by cool breeze brought down the temperature on Sunday evening.

The city, which was cloudy since morning, experienced showers in the evening.

On Friday and Saturday, the city recorded the highest temperature of over 42 degree Celsius, the season's highest, forcing a majority of residents to remain indoors. Roads at many areas wore a deserted look.
