East Godavari: Officials alerted after a COVID-19 case reported in Anaparthi

The East Godavari officials have alerted amid growing Coronavirus cases in Anaparthi and held large scale sanitation programs. Besides, barricades were also set up and the streets were closed. The total number of positive cases in the district so far has reached 273. On the other hand, the Corona cases are not stopping at Gollalamamidaada of Peddapudi Mandal with 7 cases reported in the village on Monday alone. So far, the number of corona infected people in Gollalamamidada has reached 113.

While Peddada, Gandredu and Rajapalem villages reported one case each. The number of cases in the Mandal has reached 116. Due to the growing number of coronary cases, contact details of people in the area are being collected and tested.

Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh has reported 82 new COVID-19 cases during the last 24 hours on Tuesday out of 12,613 samples were tested taking the tally to 3200. As per the bulletin issued by the Health Department on Tuesday, Currently, there are 927 active cases and as many as 2209 have got recovered and discharged on Monday.

As many as 40 persons have been cured in the past 24 hours and zero deaths reported. The death tally remained at 64. The total cases reported above are excluding the cases of migrant returnees and foreign returnees.
