Amaravati: TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was misusing not only the Central government's investigation agencies like CBI, ED, IT and others, but also the Election Commission of India (EC).
Speaking with the party leaders at Undavalli in Guntur district, Naidu alleged that the ECI has not been conducting the elections in a fair manner but supporting the YSRCP, as per the guidelines dictated by Narendra Modi.
He suggested the party leaders and cadre to be alert till the end of counting and should keep an eye on EVMs and monitor each and every activity of the ECI. The YSRCP has been trying to come into power through wrong practices and illegal political activities, he said.
He said that no one can stop the TDP from forming government again in the State, as it has been enjoying people's confidence and their support.Naidu said that more than 95 MLA candidates and 12 Lok Sabha candidates of the YSRCP have criminal background and questioned how the party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy could ask people to vote for his men?
Naidu said that Jagan and his party leaders were contesting elections to escape from the pending criminal, CBI, ED and other cases filed against them. Reacting on comments of Jagan on Brahmani Steel, Naidu said the YSRCP leader again was planning to loot the lands and properties of the State government by giving the iron ore mining lease to his well-wisher and BJP leader Gali Janardhan Reddy.
