EC should intervene over YCP irregularities, says Kanna Lakshminarayana
Vizianagaram: BJP state president Kanna Lakshminarayana has visited Vizianagaram on Friday. Speaking on this occasion, Kanna said that the YCP government is threatening BJP and Janasena candidates who are contesting in the coming local body elections.
He said that the Election Commission should look into the issue and control the irregularities committed by the cadre of the YSR Congress party in the state. He said that BJP always works for the public and stand for them.
Kanna came down heavily on CM YS Jagan that he is offering chocolates to the public in the name of Navaratnalu and said that the AP government is raising the taxes on petroleum products.
He said that BJP works for the protection of endowment assets. BJP chief strongly opposed the abolishing of MANSAS trust and stated it as totally undemocratic. It seems that the chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy is eyeing on the lands under the control of MANSAS trust and wanted to grab the lands. He warned the government that BJP will not allow such irregularities, and will definitely work to protect the tradition, customs in Hindu temples.
BJP MLC PV Madhav said that BJP wouldn't accept the involvement of others in MANSAS trust, which is a hereditary property of Vizianagaram Maharajas. The government of AP should reveal why they have hidden the GO released regarding the abolishment of MANSAS trust. BJP always fight against the anti-public policies being implemented by the YSRCP government.
