Eluru: Ch SD St Theresa College students present fashion show
Eluru: Students of Fashion Designing course rocked the ramp at Ch SD St Theresa College for Women here on Wednesday. They showcased their skills in fashion designing and presented a variety of dresses, which they themselves designed and stitched. The programme was feast to the eyes.
Principal Dr Sr Marietta D'Mello appreciated the students for their creative endeavour. She said this course has lot of job potential as there is demand in the market for good fashion designers, boutiques and tailoring shops.
This course helps the students to become entrepreneurs. Eligibility to join this course is Intermediate.
Students who failed in Intermediate can also join this course as this is a diploma course and they complete their Intermediate and can continue further studies.
Students of fashion designing take National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) exam which enables them to take up government jobs as craft teachers nationwide. Fashion show was guided by Ms B Radhika, lecturer in fashion designing.
