Eluru: Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister Alla Kali Krishna Srinivas (Nani) has said dividers on the main roads would be set up in the city to resolve traffic problem.

The Deputy chief Minister was speaking to a group of traders who met him and urged him to drop the proposal of setting up dividers to suit their convenience. However, the Minister convinced them that dividers would help them in easing traffic and also helpful to petty vendors to continue their businesses. He also said that central lighting system would also be arranged in the city for the convenience of people and vehicle riders.

The State government would not hesitate to widen roads to tackle traffic problem. But it would hit the livelihood of the petty vendors, he added. The traders should look for a permanent solution to traffic problem and cooperate with the administration, he suggested.
