Eluru: Restrictions on plying of autos, cabs too

Eluru: Superintendent of Police Navdeep Singh Grewal has said no autos, cabs along with buses should ply during lockdown period up to March 31.

He attended 'Dial your SP' and gave instructions to the subordinates to solve problems and complaints brought to his notice by people here on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, the SP elaborated to people on the guidelines to be followed during lockdown period. He said people in groups comprising more than five members should not wander. No functions would be organized. The people should stay at home and avoid travel.

Those returned from foreign countries should not move outside. Shopping malls, theatres, gyms, function halls should be closed. Aged and children should not come out of their homes. Places of worship such as temples, mosques and churches should be closed.

The people can only come out for purchase of essential commodities besides emergency services.

People should maintain a distance of two metres with other persons even if they come out of their homes for emergency purposes.
