Endowments Department frame rules for darshans in temples across Andhra Pradesh!
As the fourth phase of the lockdown ends today, the centre has taken a key decision to extend the lockdown from tomorrow to June 30. Meanwhile, the Ministry of endowments in Andhra Pradesh has prepared guidelines to hold darshans and measures to contain coronavirus outbreaks and has sent them to health department for permission. It was decided to provide shoe term darshan to devotees without entering the intersection. The guidelines were sent to the Department of Health. The medical health department is due to approve these and issue official orders.
Here are the guidelines:
Time slot would be allocated for pilgrims for darshans after booking online.
An identity card is mandatory for every devotee visiting the temple.
Bathing in temples, rivers and ponds near temples is not allowed.
30 per cent of the total number of devotees are permitted in connection with rituals such as Rahu, Ketu Pujas, Vratas, Homes etc.
Devotees should be allocated 50% of the rooms with two members each in the room.
Annadanam, Prasadam, Nithyanaprasadam will not be permitted as of now.
The shops in the temple premises should be allowed alternatively.
