Erasu Prathap Reddy may quit TDP

Kurnool: Former Minister and TDP Panyam in-charge Erasu Prathap Reddy likely to quit the party and join the YSRCP as YSRCP Panyam MLA Gowru Charitha Reddy has joined the TDP. Erasu, who was expecting Panyam Assembly ticket, was disappointed after TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu gave an assurance to Charitha of re-nominating her from Panyam in forthcoming elections. Pratap Reddy will take a decision after meeting Chandrababu, source close to Erasu said.

Addressing a press meet here on Sunday, the TDP official spokesperson M Mallikarjuna Reddy said that new entrants are joining the TDP expecting tickets. Former ZPTC members B Seetharami Reddy and Mallela Pulla Reddy stated that the party should give importance to loyalists over new entrants while allocating tickets.
