ESI Hospital to get 100 beds soon: MP Margani Bharat Ram

Rajamahendravaram: MP Margani Bharat Ram has said that a 100 bedded ESI hospital will come up soon in the place of existing 50 beds hospital in the city to cater to the needs of working fraternity.

After inspecting the hospital with respective officials here on Saturday, he said the Central government gave its nod to upgrade the hospital and assured to ask ESI Corporation officials to start construction works immediately in the place of dilapidated building. As many as two working fraternity in twin Godavari districts will be befitted with the hospital.

The hospital will be developed on all fronts under Naadu Needu programme. With the help of corporate companies, latest medical equipment, trauma care centre and necessary infrastructure also will be provided.

Only 40 staff are working as against of 100 staff in the hospital since many years, he said and added Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy was very much particular to strengthen ESI hospitals in the state to provide corporate level medical aid to working fraternity.

Earlier, he met the patients in the hospital and enquired about the health condition and other facilities in the hospital. Dr V Taraka Prasad and K Rama Krishna and other officials accompanied the MP.
