Event management students of SPMVV exhibit talent

Tirupati: Event management students of Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (SPMVV) organised an exhibition-cum-sale on Friday on the eve of Ganesh Chaturthi on varsity premises.

This event was inaugurated by In-charge Vice-Chancellor Prof V Uma. In this exhibition, students organised stalls under different zones like fun zone, food zone, shopping zone, eco-friendly Ganesha zone.

Taking guidance from faculty, students from various branches who opted event management as an elective put up their stalls. The students gave a message to the society to use eco-friendly Ganesha idols as the pollution increasing due to chemicals and Plaster of Paris.

The eco-friendly Ganesha idols were made by students themselves exhibiting their talent and creativity. Dean of Social Sciences Prof K Murugaiah, Dean of Sciences Prof A Jyothi, Prof V Durga Bhavani, Dr Sobha Rani, Prof P Vijaya Lakshmi, Prof T Triupura Sundari, In-charge Registrar Prof Geetha Vani and others were present.
