Ex MP Narasimha Rao Dora passes away in Veeragattam
Srikakulam: Former MP and former MLA Viswasarayi Narasimha Rao Dora, 95 died of age related ailments at his house in Vanduva village in Veeragattam mandal in Srikakulam district on Monday. Dora was elected as MP from Parvatipuram segment on Swatantra Party ticket once.
Later he joined in Janata Party and elected as MLA on the party ticket from Kotturu Assembly segment.
Later Dora switched over to Congress and defeated in the hands of TDP candidate N Gopala Rao in 1983 elections from Kotturu Assembly segment. In 1985, Dora was elected as MLA by defeating the TDP candidate N Gopala Rao from Kotturu Assembly segment.
Dora is father of YSRCP Palakonda MLA V Kalavathi. Upon information about death of her father, Kalavathi rushed to Vanduva village.
The MLA is residing in Palakonda Assembly segment headquarters.
