Expedite land acquisition for Sagarmala project: DRO

Kakinada: RDO and sub divisional magistrate G Rajakumari called up on the stake holder departments to expedite the land acquisition for Sagarmala Project. The project was being taken up from Kakinada port to temple town Annavaram for a distance of about 53 kilometres covering Kakinada rural, U- Kothapalli and mandals along sea coast, the RDO said at the meet organised at RDO office on Thursday.

In all, 736.42 metres of additional land was required in these two mandals for connecting to NH 16 at Annavaaram, the RDO said. She advised the mandal surveyors to take the assistance of licensed surveyors. Kakinada urban and rural tahsildars Ch Prasad and B Someswara Rao and other officials were present in the meeting.
